They took my mirrors?!
So I'm at at the local library browsing t4r and doing some posting myself. (10 minutes ago). I need my laptop charger so I head to my truck. Upon arrival I see that my side mirrors are missing. I'm slightly poed at this point. As I walk away from the truck I turn back and see that they glued them to the roof. Who the does that? C'mon really? You're asking for me to throw a brick at your face!

Since you live in San Fran I'd have to say some envior-nazi who doesn't like the fact that you're driving a nice truck. Whereas this dred wearing, patchouli smelling, social deviant resents it enough to do something as stupid as defacing your Runner.
Too bad you didn't catch him/her/it in the act, and put a good American beat-down on him/her/it.

I'll bet the library has video of it if you file a police report. Won't get you anywhere seeing as the police here haven't caught a bank robber that's hit 5 banks now..

Sorry no pics. I ripped em off and gladly-no damage to the roof. or the mirrors.
But while we're at SF crime......
Last july I went out surfing with some friends and loaded the runner up with the boards on top- 4 guys and gear. we stopped off in the city and grabbed some lunch at a deli. I only parked like a block away. when we came back, 4 white guys in a land rover were unloading my boards off. we ran after them and they played stupid like nothing happened. man, if we had been 2 minutes later, I woulda lost some valuable stuff. + one of my dad's vintage santa cruz surfboards D:
people these days.
That is not the end of it. not kidding.
I was having dinner and being a Designated Driver (paid) for some friends last marchish. After having dinner on union street, we got back in the car and took off. I approached the intersection, and a normal looking guy that was acting odd was just walking in circles in the road. I honked at him and he came at me and I floored it. he grabbed on to the roof rack for about 30 yards then let go. Crazy times we live in!
and on a comical note: my dad works in the city at night in the produce markets. on our way home one day at about 8 in the morning, we got off the highway and into the city and saw a homeless dude just drop his pants and drop a deuce right there off the road.
i love where i live
sorry this thread went elsewhere but I had to share :P

Speaking of batshit crazy people I was going down a road and a runner was trying to j walk and was standing right on the curb, as I passed him he stepped into the street and punched my truck as hard as he could as I was going 45 down the street. He fell on the ground and I turned around to see what his deal was, when I got back to where he was he had already run off, I hope the ****er broke his hand. No damage to my truck but people are crazy

Man I love West Virginia! Open carry, and CCW! People are so much more polite in a well armed society.
Speaking of which I just bought a Springfield 1911 A1 .45 ACP for me, and a S&W 15/MagPul (.223 AR), and added a military surplus Reflex holographic site. 1000 rounds of .223 and 500 rounds of .45 ACP just arrived via UPS. Time to head to the range, and play "Let's Shoot Some Libtards!"

I've always looked at the bigger the city is in CA, the more Donkey's/Thieves you are gonna have to deal with. As for S.F., I never let my guard down while there. S.F. has educated thieves/ smooth talking Con artist's.
Glad to hear no damage to the mirrors or vehicle, but I would think the prank was from someone you know or someone who see's you frequently at the location. Then again it could of just been one of the million crazy people who live there.

Same reason I love Oregon. My EDC is a springfield xds .45. Just bought a magpul foregrip for my AR like 20 minutes ago. Just got installed.
