Saw this beauty and couldn't resist...
I spotted this one while walking through the parking field after a festival on Memorial weekend.

I love the look of the old 1st gen 4Runners.

Other than the Shittybilt rear bumper and crappy wheels this runner is FINE! An original bumper and set of stock wheels is all she needs.

First-gen runners have the sexiest stance without trying hard or being overly done, unlike the ugly eyes and fish mouth grilles of the 2014 - LOL!

Toyota components are bullet-proof. Issues often arise from poor wiring, assembly and/or maintenance. Suspect those first.
Next only to our senses, the multi-meter is the most important electrical diagnostic tool. Spend $6 at Harbor Freight or $$$ blindly replacing parts.
