Added 33x10.50R15 BFG KM2's for a trip from Northern VA to South Carolina right by Georgia. Did great but it was getting about 15.3 mpg.... ugh! Also added a CB for the trip and when I go on trails.
Found a little grass trail and decided to try the tires out haha, lame I know. Itll go back to Raush Creek when I get the lift on and some rock sliders
yup thats 5. I picked up a factory SR5 wheel to match as a spare.
Sick flex!!

This is new to me, I've never heard of anyone having trouble because of a ball joint spacer (other than Blazeland Nate ranting about all the trouble they could cause). What specific troubles did your friends have? Where did they buy the balljoint spacers? Was it the spacers that broke or the a-arm, and how did they install them?

Welcome SR587. Good to see another local with a love of the 2nd Gen. We should all get a meet and wheel trip to the George Washington National Forest, or The Cove at Gore VA soon.

thanks! I had the bj spacers on my 87 and they were fine. I wasnt nice to that truck either haha. Im not worried about these. Theyre billet from 4crawler not the cast ones that like to break.

update
Lift time!
4 Crawler bj spacers, fj80 rear coils and necessary brackets.
Gettin to work
Unexpected cost
turns out the boots were torn so I just replaced the one side for now.
All in there. still dont have everything bolted up thats why the angles are so bad on the axles.
Time for the rear.
un bolted upper control arms, sway bar, shocks and the brackets for the brake lines.
Heres a shot of the difference between the stock saggy springs and the 80 springs
Before:
After:
So far so good. The front is done except for the steering stabilizer that just came in today and the rear shocks should be here in a couple of days.
Heres a shot of it next to my folks stock '13 4Runner

Nice man! I love my 33x10.50 KM2s! I also have the 3.0/Auto and I get around 14.5 mpg, but she needs a tune up in a BAD way, so that might help me!
