Started refinishing interior parts with sem classic coat. It looks great and I think is a good match for the original color but the contrast between old and new is so great, I may have to do all the interior plastics!

Holy hell this vinyl floor will be the death of me. Just shove it in, mark, trim over and over and I can’t get it to lay flat.

Anyone install this stuff on their trucks?

Finally got Discount to swap the 235/85/16 firestones to 265/75/16 Goodyear Ultraterrains. Decided to make the switch to go from an E sidewall to an SL for a better ride. Weight is supposedly the same at 40lbs ea.

In the short ride home from the shop, I noticed that the ride is certainly improved. I definitely miss the look of the pizza cutters but oh well.

Stupid rear power widow no working again,I think I’ve id’d the burnt out resistors on the board but have trouble figuring out how to source replacements. Anyone ever repair one of these boards?

Pics of the new new tires (again). Pretty pleased with the looks and ride quality so far. Haven’t really tested the traction yet.

Any luck with the resistors? Sorry I've been absent. 3.4 Swapping the wife's 90 pickup so I've been up to my ears in wiring

I haven't started yet, still trying to source the correct resistors. I think the issue is one 680ohm resistor and two of the purple and black "3k" resistors. The 680 ohm is pretty easy to find but the 3k ones I find online look nothing like the ones on the board. Wish there was an electronics repair store nearby to help with this sort of thing.

It's getting to be soft top season anyway so I'm tempted to shelve everything and put the canvas back on. It's either that or I'm going to have to get my AC working soon to prepare for the incoming blazing heat of the summer.

So I have since found out the purple and black ones are diodes but I still don't know how to source the correct replacements.

Tried a heat gun/hair dryer to persuade stubborn spots?
I want to replace my dust-trappinh carpet with utilitatian, easy to clean (just a counter brush and/or damp rag, no vacuum needed)

Toyota components are bullet-proof. Issues often arise from poor wiring, assembly and/or maintenance. Suspect those first.
Next only to our senses, the multi-meter is the most important electrical diagnostic tool. Spend $6 at Harbor Freight or $$$ blindly replacing parts.

Raptor liner

Hit the rest of the tub with raptor liner. Stuff is a ticking time bomb to work with once you mix it. You have to work very quickly to use it all before it gets too sticky and starts tearing apart the roller. Might have to purchase another kit for a 2nd coat to get the texture consistent. FYI the sheen is more consistent after curing, wasn’t fully dry in the pics.

I also picked up a rear seat delete for a decent price. It came with a big hinge riveted on the end. Hinge is toast and I don’t want to use rivets because I want to be able to bolt the seats back in relatively easily. Mocked it into place for the photo but would like to figure out how to hinge it,

Project indestructible interior continues. I added ABS panels from key panels. They are kinda pricey but well made.I added a foam seal the edges to thwart rattles and keep most of the moisture out. I also cut a custom load space out using leftover nitrile flooring from my shed. I’m pretty happy with the results. Now I just have to make some kind of edge guard for the tailgate.

Yeah I never had OEM cargo panels and I got sick of looking. Not sure whether to paint these grey or leave them black.
