bimetal vacuum valve 90925-05047 - alternative parts & suppliers please ?

happy dance when I'm building up the intake; that at least my "VALVE, BIMETAL VACUUM " (the blue green vacuum switch threaded into the water jacket of the intake manifold) looked OK , but damned if its not broke later that evening by the evil engine builder gnomes cos I was nowhere near it. damndamndamn

So trying to locate this part (now or sooner), for less than ($40~70 list price for Toyota OE part).

All this lousy thing does is isolate the charcoal canister until the engine is warm.
Skipping it not really my first option, for emissions inspections reasons nad cos its a pain to get at under the hood.

This is what I found so far, and thats subject to change

Threaded section 16mm x 1.5
Operating temp = unknown but face it , the stock thermostat is 180F
2-port bimetal vacuum valve switch, normally OFF cold.

cross numbers-

toyota / aisin part 90925-05047 $40 ~70

airtex wells 7P1170 (per rockauto , actually costs MORE that OE part number !!) some 70 buck ( this is a first for RA to come in higher ! )

possible cross number;
Cole Hersee SW VACUUM NO 92007BX $17 or so @ carquest but hidden in back country warehouses and no picture exists online so for all I know sasquatch has the only supply of these.

autozone Duralast E9122 ( no pic, no stock, $60~70)

junkyard - free to $100 but the salvage guys are crushing all this older stuff that the ebay scroungers have gone over to bust up.

now that i found the broke off stub I'll be attempting a glue on, but toyota probably specced some space age plastic that is immune to superglue.

REQUEST -
have you bright and generous people come up with an alternative part number?

This is the water temp sensing vacuum port switch for the charcoal vapor recovery canister.

I find it kind of preposterous this stupid little device is so unique to our trucks.

Rock auto lists other apps as
TOYOTA 4RUNNER (1988 - 1995)
TOYOTA CELICA (1980 - 1985)
TOYOTA COROLLA (1986 - 1990)
TOYOTA CRESSIDA (1978 - 1984)
TOYOTA MR2 (1985 - 1989)

In particular , there is a almost same looking valve on other Toyos that seems to be a little more common/later

TOYOTA CELICA CAMRY COROLLA MR2 BIMETAL EVAPORATIVE VACUUM VALVE 90925-05068.
Its listed for the TOYOTA CAMRY (1983 - 1996)
and may have a show stopper thread pitch ( of NPT: 3/8 -19 )

has anyone tried one of these valves on the 4(not)running ?

I used a similar part from a 4 cylinder car from our local lkq. I posted on this a couple weeks ago. The body is a bit bigger and uses a 22mm wrench rather than 19mm but for the price, $2.00 I tried it. I though of using small metal tube and JB weld to reconstruct the original.

I bought one on ebay for $40ish....new, i broke it putting it on w/ a deepwell socket i grinded a groove in for the plastic barbs within 3 turns. I shoved a golf tee into both vacuum hose ends & called it done. Good luck

I'm stuck looking for a fix also. Pick-n-pull was a bust with all of them gone or broken. I am also tempted to "glue" it somehow. Damn california and the smog
