seat covers for a 85-86 T4R with the split rear seat

Hi All, does anyone know of a good fitting set of seat covers for an 85 (techincally it's a late 85 with IFS)? It has a rolling rear seat with no head rests and I can't find any company that makes a seat cover for that rear seat so probably going to be stuck with a generic cover, any one found any that fit decently snug?

Mostly interested in that rear seat cover as my rear seat is starting to tear.

thanks in advance.

I am also interested in this, my foam and seat frames are in good shape but the velour upholstery on it looks gross.

I haven't had luck finding anything yet.

These are expensive but I'm thinking about trying them. Was trying to hold out for some used seats in better shape than mine but I can't find any.

I'm looking for the same thing. If I can't find any I'm putting in a set of 2nd gen seats but would rather not have to drill new holes.

Wet Okole neoprene seat covers! My old set went to a friend who still uses them, they still look like brand new! Just throw 'em in the washing machine once a year or two and they'll look fantastic!

My set is now over 12 years old and still goin' strong!!! You get what you pay for, and these weren't cheap!

Agreed on all accounts. I have a set in my DD Tacoma but would like to find something cheaper for the rear seats in the 4runner.

I've heard the wet okole's are very hot to sit on. No experience with neoprene seat covers but it doesn't seem like the most breathable material.

Neoprene + heat = swamp ass. There's some budget seat covers on EBay that fit pretty good, if that's your speed. Nothing special, but $20 to cover up your stained torn upholstery isn't bad. Check ChildrenofBodom's thread for pics.

That sounds perfect, I took a hard look and did a couple searches in his massive build thread but I couldn't find any sign of the covers. I'm sure there in there somewhere though.

These are the ones: Multifunctional Full Set Fabric Auto Seat Covers Supports Airbag Split Benches | eBay. I remembered them being $20, maybe they went up or maybe I'm just old.

CoBs pics are post 337 of his build COB's 87 4Runner Turbo

$500 is a lot of money for seat covers. 6 or 8 sets of new-ish seats from pick-n-pull kind of money.

If I could find some good back seats for that kind of money I'd be all over them. I only need covers for the rear b/c my truck came with courbeau seats up front.

For $200, those covers might be worth it to me if the fit is excellent and the material is waterproof. I'd rather have new high quality covers on my old seats than another pair of slightly less worn seats.

So, I am jealous of your Courbeaus. Still a lot of money for a set of seat covers, but I don't know of any better deals.

Those are simple seats back there. For $200, you could probably get them reupholstered in a nice waterproof fabric.

Yeah I thought so too! I tried a few auto upholstery shops around here and even the one where I have a hookup (I get commercial pricing through my company) was quoting between $3-400.

And yeah the corbeau's are pretty sweet, one of the reasons I paid up for the truck. They are black with a royal/navy blue insert in the middle so they are slightly clashing with the metallic blue exterior paint but not too bad. If I do these custom covers I could match them up but I'm not sure if I'd want to.

Seats, outside of the truck...
