ID_DTD's 91 3.4 swap build thread

Sorry for the long post but i want my build thouroghly logged haha

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been here, sold my 96 to my twin bro and got into the fitted civic scene (an awful idea btw), then rolled in a 93 4x4 s10 for awhile which i lowered for a bit (ruined a 4wd truck by lowering it, but i thought of it as an all season lowrider haha. Then i lifted it back to stock and rolled in it until I got t-boned by a Jeep commander...

Before (rear flip kit and T-bar de-crank)

Raised it up to stock height, threw on some toyo at's, And then the class A boning received 3 days later:

Totaled but the bed somehow came out untouched, moved the cab over a few inches from the force of the collision:

Damn Chevy seat belt failed. Lap belt held me in place but the shoulder belt didn't lock up, causing me to whip my head right into the wrecked door

And yes that is my hair stuck in the sill, even after being taken to the tow yard

But enough of that. Afterwards I took what little my insurance paid out to me and with the 4 runner itch rearing it's head i managed to scoop up this monster

Meet the yeti. A 91 4runner sr5 with a 3.4l swap! Had to ditch those running boards A$AP and ad a Yakima rack (no pics before the install) (Pic taken above arrowrock dam outside Boise, ID).

and since my old 3rd Gen is still in the family here is a pic of them together

Plans as of now are pretty mild, as I work full time managing a supplement shop and my full time university studies will start up again in a month:

Grille guard/ tube or plate bumper

Fj60 coils to loose the California lean, also some bj spacers

Panhard drop bar

Quieter exhaust because the header/full 2.5 inch MagnaFlow is wearing out and too loud for my tastes.

In an ideal situation with an endless cash flow I would be a little more liberal with my plans, but a lot was done before I got my hands on it, and it is more than capable of taking me nearly anywhere for camping (I don't wheel much at all. Not yet anyways...)
