I am a little confused by your 4 posts. I cannot tell if you are wanting the double cup holder insert or if you are offering to loan me your console?

Very Interested in a single cup holder for the shift area and double for the console. Rocking an 86 with gray interior and a standard depth console. No heater, no second level on the console. Would be shipped to 33486. PM me the numbers when you are able. Thanks for the work to design these!

My truck is down for awhile longer from a rollover. I have the shorter center console with heat. If you still need one for prototyping, I can send it to you. I also have the auto trim piece as well if you still need that. Just let me know. I might not even reuse the center console so there may be no need to send it back.

I have the single cup holder in stock for the manual tranny. I will be releasing the double cup holder some time next week. I already developed the one for the short console (non heat) and I'm working on the double for the tall console right now. I hope to have the first prototype on a machine today.

I would definitely love to get access to the auto bezel/shifter section to work off of. I would need it for about a week. I would also love to borrow the low console with heat. I'm not sure there is enough depth to create a functional cup holder in the storage compartment but I'm willing to give it a try. PM coming.

Hi Bhicks,
(Not sure if I had asked before)...
Would you consider making a variation of the rear window control/coin holder insert so, after switches are relocated, it can be used as a single cup holder? It would look very much like stock. I have ideas but no equipment nor experience doing Fiberglas or fabricating work.
Switches removed:
Insert modification in process. Common coffee mug sits on the existing "bottom" of insert:
Opening in existing bottom would accommodate skinnier travel cup:
I would be glad to send you mine if you'd like.
Regards,
RAD

Next only to our senses, the multi-meter is the most important electrical diagnostic tool. Spend $6 at Harbor Freight or $$$ blindly replacing parts.

Wow, that is a lot of work for a cup holder. Would this cup holder you are asking about only be useable if modifications were made to the factory console? I'm not real big on cutting up factory parts to make room for a cup holder. I think my double cup holder (coming soon) is pretty functional and requires zero cutting or drilling. Same goes for the front single. If this idea would require no cutting to the factory console then I might be interested in developing something.

Hi BHicks,
Oh no; no cutting required. That black insert is easily removed. Then it can be replaced with a fabricated one that is a cup holder.
After all, the stock location is a bad place for switches; I'm sure in the past 28 years drinks had been spilt on those switches at least once.
I simply showed you what I had been working on - modifying the existing insert - to show how it would fit around the different cups. I stopped because it would require Fiberglas work. A 3D printed would be cleaner.
That is if there's enough demand to make it feasible for you.

Ok. Let me finish up the double cup holder designs and get them released and I will then look into finding if there is any demand for this.

Yep, Bare plastic also means low-maintenance.
