Speaker and AC Issue

The left speaker on my 94 is busted. Are there instructions for taking that apart and what kind of speakers would I need to replace that?

The AC seems to be very dirty I believe, are there instructions for AC cleaning and does this 4runner have a cabin filter?
The air filter is new so that shouldn't be the problem for the AC.

Thanks in advance for all your help guys.

are you talking about your front left or rear left speaker. front left is a little tricky because you have to remove the entire panel and work around the e-brake. not that big of a deal though.

when i replaced mine, i took the old speaker out and brought it with me to a car stereo shop. this way I could compare the depth and mounting holes with the new set i was to buy.

It's the front left speaker. I just need to know how to take the front dash apart to remove that speaker to replace it. If someone has pics or a DIY, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I've got a 1990 and I think the dash should be the same.

There's about 4 screws holding that peice of the dash in and one bolt. The bolt is at the far left at the bottom. The screws are all fairly visible just shine a flashlight in all the holes to see if there's screws in them.

All you need is a philips screwdriver and a 10mm socket.

The speaker is attached to the dash peice. I think the speaker itself is a 4" speaker.

You should be able to get it apart easily enough.

I had my dash all apart last night. I didn't think to take pictures though. If you decide to do both speakers the right side is a little more tricky. A couple of the screws that hold it together are in the glove box.
