Run far, run fast. That looks like the same outfit as CHS (AKA Raptor Engines and several other business names). Dude keeps screwing customers over and changing his business name, but somehow he isn't smart enough to change his phone number or the "about us" on his many many web pages.

Thumbs down PMC Machine... RUN!!

PMC Machine (RCHS Enterprises) stole my money, some of my parts, and my core engine -giving me nothing in return but a year (so far) of waiting.
It has been a year now (January 2016) since I purchased a Toyota 3VZE hi pro engine from PMC Machine -paid $2295. I still have no engine (new or my shipped off core), & missing other parts they said they needed.

First, my new engine was lost in shipping. Then it was found and delivered. A two week delay -no big deal.
Then, in under 300 miles from installation a bearing spun on their new engine that never quite got up to power or ran right. I had it pulled and sent back by their instruction. I had all work done by a professional shop and verified by another veteran Toyota specialist. PMC required some of my parts so they can investigate possible causes. They said they would repair the engine and send it back to me, but it was lost in shipping again -this time for two months. I was told the shipper didn't even know what had happened to it. It was eventually found, and last I was told, it was on the shipping dock ready to go (9 months in). 3 weeks later, no engine or parts.
While the same fellow answering the phone every time was cordial enough, though not accommodating, I grew tired of the seemingly endless saga. With advice from my attorney/friend, I sent them an email with a request date of resolution in any form of money or product for a few weeks away. Since it had already been over 9 months since paying them by now, and since they had promised me several missed time frames over the phone I wanted a date in writing. I assumed another few weeks was being gracious and accommodating. They never replied to the email and stopped answering my phone calls that day. Apparently, I was their only Montana customer at the time, as they seemed to imply in an earlier conversation. This apparently made it easy for them to identify my call and not answer the phone.
That carried on for several weeks so I stopped calling for a few more weeks. Then, I called again. They answered and stated without explanation or apology, 'We are going to refund your money. It should take 5-10 days.' I said Great! Thank you! I thought there was a note of being off guard in the voice, but they also said they would ship my own parts back to me so I decided to be cautiously optimistic. When 14 days had passed without a refund or parts I called again. No answer. I called several more times. Never an answer or a reply to my still intentionally courteous and few voicemail messages.
This is where I find myself a year after 'purchase' (not sure what I bought) with no engine, missing parts, a few thousand dollars lighter, and with very little recourse.
This entire time I never so much as raised my voice (much to the amazement of some friends close to the situation). So, it seems at this point, they have not had, and do not have, intention of resolving our business with integrity, or even some communication.

Sum: DO NOT GIVE PMC MACHINE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME. My truck was a beloved daily driving, hunting, fishing, camping, exploring, etc., type truck. I had to buy a new vehicle thanks to PMC Machine (RCHS Enterprises) of Portland, Oregon.

You might ask, Why didn't you use a local machine shop or buy a crate engine? -They were the only ones I found that claimed to have a 20+ year track record of building the Toyota 3VZE engine with numbers showing much better than stock. I spoke with them and searched for reviews before conducting business. I found one negative slow shipping review at that time.

You might ask, Why not just sue them? -Overall, besides having to buy a new vehicle, I lost over $5K in costs and the theft itself. That number is large, but not enough to push the case to a serious enough repercussion of enforcement level, as I am told by my attorney/friend. In other words, I could win the case and still not get repaid, plus have attorney's fees for my trouble.
Further complicating things, PMC Machine is in Portland, OR. I am in Montana.

You might ask, Now what? -Good question. My engineless truck sits against my back fence wondering if there will be better days ahead. So do I. But, for now at least, enough money has left my shallow pockets.
