Right rear Mount... Need help

Right rear Mount... Need help-fore-jpg

This is on the rear right hand side of my 1990 Fore Runner...

Any idea what it is called and where to find one?

I am assuming I would need to remove remnants of the old one and weld on a new one. Not sure if something like this is available on the market or if I have to design and fab my own...

Thanks in advance..

Lower control arm mount, you'll probably have to fab one up. Or could attempt to cut one off another 4runner and weld it on yours... either way, welding will be involved. Good luck, that is a lot of rust!!

I agree there is rust, I am just hopeful that it is either surface or confined to the mount itself.

I have no issues with fabbing my own mount, I have a 220 V MiG and plenty of time on my hands during the winter, along with having a wood stove and oil burner in my garage... AND a beer fridge

Was just hoping there was a replacement mount available from aftermarket...

Update... with hunting season over for me (2 deer, an elk and a turkey) I got back on this. Cut off the old mount, traced it onto cardboard and fabbed a new bracket out of 1/4 " steel...

About 4 hours of prep cleaning frame rail (surface rust only) got it welded in and put back together... The runner is back on the road... Pain in the ass to do but it is done..,

Nicely done! Got a pic of the completed mount? How was the rest of the frame rust wise?
