On another note, I'd kill for a set for 2nd gen 4WD Manual. Grey is best, any chance you'd do black? Thanks and good luck

I have a color match for the Tan but have not found a color match for the gray. If I can't find a gray color match then I will offer Tan and black. The 4WD manual trans cup holder is all done and a large batch already made. I will have pics of it installed tomorrow. Should be up on my website some time next week. I just need to wrap up the 4x4 auto double cup holder.

For those that don't go back a page here is my previous post. I need to know what year 2nd Gen the 2nd console (bottom pic) is from. My old 92 had the 1st console and from the earlier post a 95 had the same console so I'm very confused on where this console is from. So I was trying to wrap up the double cup holder design for the 4x4 automatic console and came across some conflicting imagery. I need some help here. I'm seeing two different consoles for the 4x4 automatic for the 2nd Gen 4Runner. What years are the two consoles below from? I have been working off of the 1st one but realized there may be two versions I need.

Maybe I should just ask a more specific question. Does anyone on this forum have the console in the 2nd pic above? If so, what year is it?

Pretty sure the bottom picture is out of a Toyota Surf (probably the philipines), though most are right hand drive...

Ok. I will just stick with the console that I have and hope that it covers all the US spec Auto 4x4 2nd Gens out there.

So I'm working on the double cup design for the 4x4 auto right now and need some help. I need a top view of the console and a profile side view of the console from the passenger side looking towards the drive side. There are a couple dimensions I'm needing and I can just add my notes of where I need dimensions from if I have those to pics to draw on.

Alright Socal guys. I need access to a 4X4 auto. I have a prototype that just came off the machine. It fits on the center console piece I have BUT I don't know how it will fit up against the plastic shifter housing that has the P-N-D-etc. I want to make sure it clears that plastic hump. Anyone in the IE that would give me 5 minutes with their 2nd Gen?

Can't help with the auto but just went to your page and don't see the manual ones there. I'll buy one when they are.
Thanks.

I have the manual double and the 2WD auto double done and in stock but not on my website. I want to have the 4WD auto done and available when I release them. I have a prototype in my hands and ready to test fit but just need the 4Runner to test fit on.

Thanks for the reply. My console is a gray color. It looks like your 1 st photo of 2 different consoles.
Also I sent a photo to your e-mail, titled: 2nd gen console color.
Thanks for making a product for over 20 yr old vehicle.

I'm at the point where I'm almost ready to beg. I BADLY need access to a 4WD auto 2nd Gen in Socal. Somebody has to be somewhat local to me with one. I have a prototype done and ready for install. I can't move and make and the final fitment changes until I get it fitted.

I have a customer up here in Napa/BayArea with a 4x4 auto but I don't know if you'd ship it and how useful I'd be for final fitment... And that's a long drive for you just to test fit. If that's an option I'm willing to help.
Other idea would be to head to a pick n pull. The Row 52 App shows when cars arrive and if you can find a fresh, unmolested interior that could work. Just talk to them about your project and they should let you bring in a cupholder. Most guys here are rather laid back. (It's a f*ckin junkyard for goodness sake).
Good luck and we're all excited for you progress.

I am going to look at a 2nd Gen craigslist ad that is close to me. Promised the seller I would help him sell it by posting info on it here in return for giving me access to his interior for a few minutes. Should have some test fit pics and needed measurements soon.

Wow. Sorry your having such a hard time trying to find an auto console. I think there is one in the junkyard by my work. If you still need it on Monday I could probably swing by.
If anyone is thinking about sending bhicks a console and worrying about not getting it back, I can say my dealings with him have been superb! Great quality products (that I love!) and great service. I can't recommend this guy or his products enough.
