The design is done and I'm now in production of the 4WD auto double cup holder. I will get pics of the final version installed soon. Been CRAZY busy processing holiday orders and have not had the time to upload all the pics. The new 4WD auto design will be up on my site on Saturday or Sunday. I just want to make sure I have a good sized batch available when I release because with how busy things are, I wont be able to make another batch for a couple weeks.

Are there only the 3 colors for the 2nd gen cup holders?

I can't speak for anything but my 1995. It's got that "golden brown" interior. But I'd take the cupholders in black, just to keep my drink from getting knocked over when I lean it in the center console.

Was there a tan color available for the 90-95? Maybe the folks who told me they have the tan interior actually meant the brown interior pictured above? I do have a brown that is pretty close to the factory brown. I also have a really close match to the gray. Maybe I just offer a brown, gray, and black option? If tan does exist, someone please let me know and post a pic of the tan.

Hell, maybe I do have tan. My color palette only has black, white, blue, green, and red.

That's the tan "Oak" I was talking about. I thought I had seen pics of the Tan interior 2nd gens but was starting to question myself. I have the Tan "Oak" color in stock and a close match to the factory gray. I will also include a satin black and a golden brown as options. The golden brown and gray will be very close in color but not exact. The tan will be exact. If color matching is a big deal then just go with black. That will go with anything.

I painted your cup holder tonight and will be shipping it on Monday or Tuesday. Just have to be sure the paint is fully cured before I ship. You will be the first person to get one. The 2nd gen cup holders will be up on my website in the next 24 hours.

My order is in for 4wh auto gray. It's good to see this is happening. I'll have to add this to my list at bottom of my post.

So the 2nd Gen Cup holders are FINALLY done and available on my site. I posted them up last night and a few of you guys already placed orders. I have them available in the 2WD and 4WD auto as well as the 2WD and 4WD manual. They come in the factory Tan, Gray, Golden Brown, and a satin black. The Tan is an exact color match. The golden brown and gray are really close but not exact. If you want an exact match then the only option I can offer is a satin black so you don't need to worry about matching. Here is the link:

They are also now on my etsy page. I do all international shipping through my etsy page:

just out of curiosity how does it attach to the console?

Do they have to be attached to the passenger side or can they be put on the driver side too?

They come with strips of 3M automotive adhesive on the bottom plus 2-4 self taping screws. The number of screws depends on which version you order. The manual is very stable and only needed 2 screws. The 4WD auto had much less surface area so it needs 4 screws.

Yes. They need to be on the passenger side. They match the contours of that side of the console. I also don't want a cup holder getting in the way of the driver being able to push the pedals. These are not very wide vehicles like a H1 Hummer, so the driver can easily reach the cup holders without issue. If you want reassurance, go sit in your 4runner and see how easy it is to reach a couple inches past the shifter.
