This is a lot of money... but one of those was sold for 13000 Euros in here.

Definitely nice!
Looks like they hardly took it out of the garage.

Toyota components are bullet-proof. Issues often arise from poor wiring, assembly and/or maintenance. Suspect those first.
Next only to our senses, the multi-meter is the most important electrical diagnostic tool. Spend $6 at Harbor Freight or $$$ blindly replacing parts.

This looks to be in well above average condition for 1st Gens. Not a fan on the milk man white, but the interior looks great.

Nice, but I'm not a fan of the mile marker hubs. Aisin all the way.

Don't get me wrong, all of us would like to have Aisin but the SR5 model mostly come with auto locking hubs. Finding OEM Aisin ones to replace them aren't easy so I had to settle for a pair of Superwinch. Nothing wrong with them as long as you don't wheel super hard lol.

Until I've found the Aisin...

Oh...and those I believe are Warn, aren't they?

They have to only go up in value. Letís be honest they only have so much competition and have very unique features.

First generations have topped $25,000 and Hagerty's values them as classic cars, depending on condition.

For top collectible dollar, loose the oversized wheels, (find allows or steel originals); and remove the wheel opening plastic, (light flares).

Ď84-85 were the years to own. Here in AZ they are hens teeth and when they do come up for sale(which is rare) they command $12-15K. Only going one direction in value....
