Re: my baby
WOW thats a clean rig....mine was that pretty when I first got it.......I would pay that much for one that clean.Watch your timing chain if the guides have not been replaced,go to metal backed guides if you do,I went to a dual row chain also from LC Engineering when I did my motor build

That is a lot of money for a 1st gen (you can get a decent 2nd gen for that kind of money), however that looks to be in excellent condition so I think that's a fair price. You just don't see to many 1st gens in that kind of unmolested shape these days, and when you do they generally can command high prices. I remember there was a blue 1st gen on ebay a while back with only 30K miles on it that looked brand new with a buy it now price of 15K, don't know what it ended up selling for though.

Just brought this baby home. I never thought I would own a truck but here it is.
It really does need some aggressive tires

Blue, you need to get rid of those running boards, it would look so much better, although i have no room to talk seeing as mine are still on too

Hey! My name is Chris, and I'm stationed at Eielson AFB. I've been up in alaska for about a month now. I have a 1995 Ford Bronco, and a 1987 Toyota 4Runner now! The Ford I'm selling, because I don't need 2 cars! I just bought it this morning for $2350! It has 221,000 miles on it, but it the engine was rebuild at 200,000 miles. I'll post more later! Here it is:

My old man bought her in '84 brand new, and 2 years ago gave it to me to restore it back to its glory days. 199K miles later, shes a little underpowered (probably worn piston rings) but still runs beautiful. It's outlived 4 cars in my driveway, a GMC pick-up bought brand new, Ford F250 bought used, Ford conversion van bought new, and a Chevy Cavilier. The '88 Mazda 929 will be next im sure, she refuses to die even when people try to kill it. (someone loosened the lug nuts on the front drivers side wheel, still havent found who did it.) When i do get the funds to restore it, nothing in the world will steer me away from going with a diesel. Though im not sure i havent done much research yet, probably a Cummings 4cyl i dont know too much about Toyotas diesels. Dont let the looks decieve you, it drives like new. (relitivley speaking.)
