Hey Nate! How are you? Good to see you have another build going on. Don’t shred the transmission on this one... it was sad to see you get rid of your last rig. It was an awesome runner with a lot of good work. I’m not on much these days, life has been busy and I don’t have a Toyota anymore. I just thought I’d cruise by for old time sake and see what’s happening. This runner looks really nice, Keep it up!
Ok, so some updates. One huge negative was I lost my dad on the 14th of last month. Everything stopped in the shop. I was in a bad place for a few weeks, but I’m getting back to normal little by little.
I did end up with another 4runner. The gray one runs really good now. I’ve been driving it all over. I wanted one with better interior and since the 95s are missing some features the previous ones had, I decided to pick up this 93. It’s more suited to what I want. No third brake light, no roof rack, interior is mint and everything worked except the back window. I fixed it with a new window motor.
The engine is blown but don’t care. Picked this one up for $500.
If anyone is wondering, left side door window motors work in the tailgate. You’re welcome.
Started pulling the bumpers and running boards off.
Got the 60 and 14 bolt in the garage.
Things are coming along again.
So sorry for your loss. My brother passed unexpectedly at the end of 2018. He was my best friend and is very missed. My plan is to finish his ‘76 FJ40 in a manner that would make him proud. This is an exciting build you have here, watching👍 Tom

shattered a bell housing so i changed the setup to an internal slave.
added on board air with a hose reel, added some rock lights, cowl hood, had to replaced the heater core, powder coated the bumpers, redid the exhaust and added a rear battery.
Next summer I'm going to link the front and move up to 42s and add some belly armor.
