2nd gen rear spoiler or wing & swing away spare tire holder

Can anyone tell or post a picture of the original mounting point of the rear spoiler. I just finished the install and matched the bracket contour to the roof and looked at a lot of pictures. I have a neighbor with a 3rd gen and its the spoiler is much lower.
2nd, who knows what should connect to the small tang on lower hinge? There is also 2 holes above and below the pivot point but only on the lower mount. I have no idea what these are for. I can assume some type of small cable to prevent the assembly from over extending.

Thanks guys

I see it in the parts breakdown but there isn't enough detail to see if its a cable that has a type of fastener. Any pictures?

Mine is a 94 using the swing out from a 90-91
With a trail-gear bumper I tweaked to clear the lower swing out mount

Not many pics of the spare tire mod. I was curious what was behind the skin while I was planning.

I’m interested in getting a trail gear bumper, what did you have to tweak on it?

See the pictures in post #8
The swing out mounts above and below the taillight on the right side.
The trail gear bumper in original form would cover the lower mounting area below the tailight.

Only necessary to tweak the Trail Gear bumper if you are using a factory tire swing out
