Been wanting to do this for awhile. Finally pulled the trigger before an upcoming trip where a water crossing is likely so I figured what the hell.
The front was the challenge. Standard Union which is commonly used for the rear won't work regrettably. It's way too tall for the allotted space. There isn't much clearance to the oil pan whatsoever.
So I searched and searched and found on eBay a 1/8 Brittish Pipe Thread (metric) SWIVEL 90 degree. Normal/solid 90 won't work because of further clearance issues. It was perfect! 5/16 barb with 1/4" hose was a tight fit but that's just a better seal, plus hose clamp means sealed for sure.
Although it was a b!tch to start using 2 index fingers, I got it. And an open end wrench to snug it down. Pipe threads don't need to be Apesh!t tight.
Some 1/2" loom where it might rub, a few zip ties and its up by the ADD solenoid waaaay up high.
Rear was super straight forward. Standard Union is perfect, a large uphill loop to the exhaust hangar, around to the body and then up near the filler neck behind a plastic cover in the wheel well.
Looking up, around and across the body, where it terminates at the right rear wheel well.
Again, rear is easy, front got solved for sure. A 45 would work too for the front, but the 90 swivel was a killer find.
