No compressor, floor jack on opposite side from where I am working, bottle jack to push the side I'm working on down just enough to free the spring from its perch.

That worked and I did the shocks at the same time. Sits way better and the little truck seems to turn, track, and generally just feels better, too.

What can be easily done up front other than a set of shocks? What are good options? I put a set of cheap KYB in back....
