Well good and bad news. I got it back together, and it fired up almost instantly. Timing was dead nuts, and I only had one coolant leak (missed one coolant line on the intake, but was an easy fix). Bad news, was that cylinder number 3 fuel injector is leaking bad! It almost seems like its leaking from the injector itself, and not the oring in the fuel rail. So I'm going to have to pull the intake back off and inspect it. It's a brand new injector, so I'm hoping it's just the oring. I'll post pics later when I can get to my work computer. I can't seem to post pics from my phone for some reason.

I tried to post a video, but it won't play. I'll see if I can figure it out.

So one more problem that I ran into, was the pig tail that comes off of the main wiring harness for the AC compressor is gone. Not sure where it went, but I can't find it. If anyone has one, I'd gladly pay for it plus shipping. Thanks. Here is a picture of what I need.

One other thing I forgot to write about, was the cold start injector fuel line. I broke mine of course. Lol. I looked for a replacement, and darn are they EXPENSIVE. So I found some 8 mm banjo fuel fittings, with 3/8" barbed ends. I then out some fuel injection 3/8" fuel line on them, with heavy duty hose clamps. For 20 bucks or so, I had a new fuel line. It worked out pretty good. Here is a photo of part of it. I left the hose long in this picture, so I could cut the line to length once the intake was back on. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Well I took the intake off again, and turned the key on to pin point any and all leaks in the fuel system. I found one bad leaking injector and another that was dripping fuel. I pulled the fuel rail off and found one pinched oring, and a torn one. I guess I jacked it up when I put it on. Uggg. Well I put two new orings on, and was careful putting the fuel rail back on, and now I have no leaks. Hooray!!! Now that she runs, it's time to start on the front end. The suspension is in need of replacement. Then it will be time for new shoes. Thinking about running a 32x12.50r15 mud terrain tire. More pics to come.

So I think I've decided to do a 4" lift on the 4runner when I do the front suspension and steering work. Might as well right. The kits I've looked at said they will fit a 33x12.50r15, but I think I'm going to just run a 32x11.50r15 to help the 3.slow out a bit. Hope to start on this very soon.

Well the lift is going to have to wait for a bit. But I am almost done with the front end. After tearing into it, it needed upper and lower control arms, wheel bearings, shocks, cv shafts, idler and pitman arms, ball joints, tie rods. I should have it finished Friday, and my tires will be installed Saturday. I ordered the Nankang N889 Mudstars, in 32x11.50r15's. More pictures to come soon I promise. In the meantime, I have one more question. Where can I get the plastic bushings for the automatic shifter? It's got slop like no other. Anyone have a part number for the bushings? Thanks.

I'm not sure about exact part numbers, but Toyota Parts - Genuine OEM Toyota Parts and Accessories Online has vin-based searching for parts, and I imagine they will have the exploded diagrams you need. Love the work you're doing! Giving me a lot of faith if I need to tear into the motor on my 95

Well the front end is finished with alignment, and new tires. I'll snap some more pics tonight. But here's a teaser. Still some small things to finish up. Next on the list is to replace the shifter bushings, new locks in the doors, replace window motor in passenger side door, replace a few missing interior trim pieces, and replace gas door. I'm also going to need to look into the transmission, to figure out a weird downshifting issue. Now that I have been able to drive it, I've noticed it doesn't want to down shift when I feel it should. I'll probably start another thread for that.
