Yes I'm jumping the terminals and getting the dash ligjts to flash so I know that part is correct.

I paid $2200 for it. So far I've bought and installed a new cat, both O2 sensors, a wiring harness from the junkyard, plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

So I'm in close to another $400 minus my time (which I don't count) to install everything.

I do agree in hindsight that the seller must have known whats up since he didn't balk when I offered what I did. He was asking 3k for it. Sucks because this rig is super clean and once I finally figure this mess out I "should" have a good base to build from.

And a new ECU? Thought you said the original didn't have the O2 terminals

What codes are you getting, did you say?

All I can say at this point, is that you are going to have to put your eye balls on the crank to verify it's all good. It is very possible something is wonky with the crank gear. It's not as much work as you think to get to it. You are going to have to pull the crank pulley to see the crank gear to verify. But it should only take you an hour or two to get to it.
