87 22RE A/C Clutch
Anyone have a good source for the a/c clutch? Mine is worn to the rivets.

Subscribed.
Got symptoms (strange sound, etc), or did you just see it worn out?
My clutch grunts when engaging. I haven't looked very closely.

Toyota components are bullet-proof. Issues often arise from poor wiring, assembly and/or maintenance. Suspect those first.
Next only to our senses, the multi-meter is the most important electrical diagnostic tool. Spend $6 at Harbor Freight or $$$ blindly replacing parts.

WorldPac. Got a Denso compressor/clutch assembly for my '88 for a fraction of what the Genuine Toyota part costs.

Noisy and lots of what looked like brake dust in the front of the engine compartment. I removed it and it is worn to the point the rivets are being ground.

Not that easy to find available parts. Do you have an account?

WorldPac is a wholesaler. Got any friends that work at a dealership? Doesn't have to be a Toyota dealer. Or any friends at an independent shop? They could buy from WorldPac as well...
