Finally getting around to hooking up the last few loose ends on the '90 but wasn't getting fuel. Drained old fuel, let pump sit in 1.5 gallons of new fuel with Techron and Startron in it, tried reversing polarity back and forth to jog it, nothing. Pulled it to find this
Part seems to be obsolete and within next few years they switch to a plastic clip system, not sure if retrofittable and not cheap, so soldered new wiring in and made a vid. All ads are from the record companies, not me
Materials used were 14ga PTFE wire, Motoseal fuel resistant gasket maker, Tyco 18-14ga #8-10 stud ring terminals, 60/40 .032" rosin core solder, rosin flux. Honorable mention to PFPE(Krytox) grease(#2)/lube(#0) as a possible gasoline proof dielectric, and activated rosin or acid flux if anyone in the future wants to try soldering to the old wire stubs instead of re-riveting.
