This^^^ Happened to mine.
I cleaned gutters down to bare metal, treated with flowed Permatex rust converter into gaps I could not reach, sealed with seam sealer (I suggest you try "3M Dynatron Auto Seam Sealer Caulk, 550, Grey, 12 oz" from amazon. I used the AC-Delco sealer but it takes DAYS to dry), primed and painted.
I almost filled the A-pillar gutter with seam sealer. In my book the gutters are pointless and poorly done (newer cars have no issues without it, Yotatech's Arlindsay removed his A Pillar gutters.) :
The roof gutter has an opening into the vehicle. If seam seal breaks down or is damaged by roof rack mount, it would wick water into the truck.
The A-pillar gutter is spot welded outside when seam seal breaks down it causes rust to eat through the the A-pillar and leak will drip right in ECU area.
