Might not be the best thread for it but I can’t start my own yet. Maybe some of y’all can help here.
I’ve been trying to replace the oil pan in my 87 IFS 4runner with 22RE. I’m going the route of dropping the front diff to wiggle it out. Only problem I’ve ran into is when removing the bolts that hold the diff on to the frame I can’t get a socket on the passenger side bolt no matter what angle I try it at. There seems to be a piece of metal in my way on the side of the control arm. Any ideas on how I could get around that without having to completely remove my control arms?
