Exclamation 87 Sr5 Suspension Lift Suggestions Please

So I've done so much research and what I'm considering is the Old Man Emu EK2202A1 kit. It's a 1.75in lift. I don't need anything huge because I want to keep the handling as stable as possible while gaining a bit more clearance. I don't do a lot of crawling just like to go fast in the woods. Kinda drive the Goat like I would a trophy truck if I ever got the chance. I would go with skyjacker but I don't see anything under 4. Need some suggestions please. looking to buy a kit in full.

Got a link for the kit you posted? I cant seem to find it.

I would look into oldmanemu cs009r springs, and maybe pull a leaf out to soften them up. Either that or a long add-a-leaf, or bring it to a spring shop and have them bend you something to spec.

I dont think youll find a 2"kit unless its a bj spacer/ad-a-leaf kit, like this Toyota 4Runner 2" Lift Kit 4WD 1985-1989

Yeah I was lookin at those springs n 4wheel parts has the leafs id want. But id really prefer a full kit to make it easy on my mechanic.
Old Man Emu Suspension Selector | ARB Old Man Emu 4X4 Suspension
fill out the info for the vehicle and check out the first kit.
Im calling 4wheelparts near me now to see if they can get it.

So 4wheelparts is on back order for all ARB parts up to 6 momths. For the rear leafs 60 people in queue at my local location... So ive decided to pop some bilsteen 5100s on the goat. Till i can get the full suspension kit organized for my mechanic to slap on.
Still, if anyone has recommendations for suspension lifts.
Fire away please.

Daaaang on the back order. Looked up the kit, thats quite the parts list! I still think you would need some BJ spacers to level it out unless you just crank up the torsion bars.

Well with everything on backorder, find another set of stockish leaf springs and ad a few leaves to your current set. Or, find a local spring shop that can make leafs on site.

Pulled that off google, but same concept. The local shop here in Barre VT does mostly semis and they have a WALL of springs waiting to be built. Makes me drool whenever I go in there.

Go for it. An uncle who has the same year of 4runner as yours ordered an Old Man Emu Lift Kit on 4wheelonline, a year ago. He was very pleased with it. Not sure if it's still available by now.

the kit you picked out is a great kit but you are gonna need to add a few more zero's to your budget if you wanna drive your 4runner like a trophy truck like you mentioned in your first post
