2nd Gen 4runner, loud clunk/bang coming from the rear when going over big bumps.

I bought a 94 4runner, runs great, bought to have a gaser around the city and just keep miles off my truck. Anywho, when i go over a speed bump or hit a bit crack in the road the back make a clunk noise like part of the back hit a part of the suspension or frame. The springs look ok, the shock look fairly ok, but i was under the impression springs are for going down and shock are to go up. So trying to track down what I need to replace to alleviate that noise. I saw it had torsion bars in the back, I had a Honda that had the same issue in the front and it had those and i replaced them and it fixed it, but IDK if these work the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you have two upper and two lower control arms.
Check the bushings in the control arm
other issue could be the shocks are missing the rubber bushing up top.

a 2nd gen 4runner does not have torsion bars in the back, only up front. In the rear suspension it uses the coil springs as the suspension.
