2nd Gen Turn signals slow sometimes stop on first start/wet mornings. Then work fine.
Having trouble diagnosing this. It's a relatively small thing, but I don't want to break something else because I didn't fix something easy.
On early morning starts, especially after rain, my turn signals blink really slow, sometimes they get stuck on or don't blink. I have to manually use the blinker stick to get them to flash so I don't get a ticket or people aren't confused. It's kinda small potatoes but it's a little unsafe and also over time I'm concerned the stick for the turn signals will wear out from over/misuse.
After an hour or so of running/or once it gets hot and kinda dries out then they work fine. Which is why I've waited a couple months to really dig in.
If it was a fuse I'd think they just wouldn't work. All the bulbs are in good shape. Not sure what the deal is?
It's also relative low priority to the oil leak that's slowly getting worse, the rust on frame from a leaking condenser that burned through the front cross piece, and slowly rotting doors. It's painful to watch this truck slowly melting away. I'm hunting down a donor truck or something of that nature. We've been through a lot and I've put a lot of work and parts into keeping it running and driving well to let it just die on me.
