Coolant Out/Inlet O-Ring ?

Trying to figure out if I need an O-Ring or gasket or just use goo.
Top radiator hose, where it goes onto the engine there is an adapter...
It has a groove in it that looks like it should have a shaped O-Ring that goes in it.
No? Yes? Part number?

Blew out the bearing on the fan holder bracket, Fake water pump, I have seen it called. Took the top radiator hose off. Took off the water outlet adapter. Just has blue goo sealing it. Goo worked but is it right?

Yeah it just uses sealant. Best type to use is Toyota Black FIPG (Form in place gasket I think is what that stands for).

Anyway it’s like $25 a tube or something. If you want to go cheaper, black or grey RTV from an auto parts store is fine too. Clean and dry the sealing surfaces really good. Let sealant cure awhile before adding liquid.
