loud exhaust noise on passenger side of my 94 V8 4Runner

error: V6 not V8. Can someone please tell me where the typical crack on the exhaust manifold (on the passenger side) is, that can cause loud exhaust noises at start up? My car is a 1994 4runner V6 3.0 Liter.

Is it easy to remove and replace the passenger side exhaust manifold?

Thanks

You're going to need to diagnose yourself. Hook up a shop vac to your tailpipe, with the shop vac in push mode. Then get a sprayer with a soap water solution and start spraying the manifold. Should be easy to find.

You could also make an adapter and pressurize your exhaust system with an air compressor.

They dont normally crack.

Check for loose bolts and blown out gaskets.

easy of chancing parts depends wildly on mileage and how rusty the truck is

Its all about the parts you break, and the friends you make.
