2.4L 22RE to 3.4L 5VZ-FE

Hello all,

I have a 1990 T4R that came with the 22RE. It is 4wd with the automatic transmission. I would like to swap a 5VZ-FE into it. Has anyone done this or knows of someone on here that has? I searched and couldn't really find anything on going from 2.4 22R(E) to 3.4 5VZ but found plenty on going from the 3.0 to 3.4 an all said it was extremely straight forward. I'm trying to get an idea of what all it will take to do this swap so I'm not going in blind and run into a bunch of issues that maybe somebody else already figured out. If its fairly straight forward like the 3.0 to 3.4 then i plan on buying a wrecked 3rd gen T4R from Copart and rebuilding the motor before I put it in. Any advice helps. Thanks!!

The location of motor mounts on frame rails are different locations on the 22RE chassis then on the 3VZE chassis.
