JDM Style Blind Spot Mirror

I had been searching all over to find a blind spot mirror like come on the JDM Hilux Surfs, but there just aren't any at all for normal LHD trucks.

It is possible to get a RHD mirror, which would go on the left fender, but it wouldn't provide much benefit other than the cool factor. I ended up finding some cheap Chinese mirrors that fold away and I think will work really well. They come with both a right and left mirror, so you can do what you like. They come in black and white, but I would recommend painting them to match your truck as the plastic finish is very glossy and cheap looking.

Well, here's the link: 2PCS Universal Car Wing Rearview Hood Mirror Assembly Not too shabby for $30.

I'll post pics when I have my new right hand side mirror painted and installed.

My truck FINALLY goes into the paint booth tomorrow morning!!!

To my knowledge, no. The only way you’d be able to do that is if you go the cheap Chinese mirror route. Aesthetically speaking, if you do a good enough job, it might look fine, but it’s most likely just gonna be cheap plastic. That’s entirely your choice though.

Lol I was just sharing the link to those for anyone interested. I already pickup up a set. I have the holes drilled in the fender already and the right side mirror prepped for paint. Just finished the body paint at 2am lol. Bumpers, mirrors, and other black stuff are next.

Like I said, it is cheap Chinese stuff, but for $30 and with no oem version available, I couldn't pass them up. It'll look good painted, and it will function. I travel with just my dog a lot, and he isn't a very good spotter on the trail. This should help me see my right front tire and keep me out of trouble.

Oh yeah, the left side is free if anyone wants it. Otherwise, it's going in the trash haha.
