Battery Tray

I just realized the tray in my newly acquired 88 SR5 is not the right kind. How do I know? Well, it's a flat piece of plastic and there is a rubber stretch strap doesn't keep it from sliding side to side . . . as into the pulleys

Is the best solution to replace with a part from Toyota?

I don't have bucks to spend on this, but I think I have to get it taken care of pronto. A small notch is out of the side of the battery. Any more of that, and who knows . . .
