Fuel tank capacity?
I recently read somewhere that the fuel tank capacity for a 1995 4Runner is 17.2 us gal. for the V6 model. Is this correct? I couldnt really find the information anywhere else.

I can't remember where I read it (don't have access to my owner's manual at the moment), but I think it's supposed to be something around 18.8, with up to one full gallon unusable.

I've personally run out of gas twice. Once on purpose and the other time it was Christmas Eve and all the gas stations were closed and the pay-at-the-pumps were also turned off. Anyway, both times when I filled up after, I put in around 18.3 gallons.

I've got a '95 V6 SR5, so hopefully this has been helpful.
