Replacing Shocks - anything I need to know?

I am replacing my OEM shocks on my 89' with a set of Pro-Comp shocks...

Is there anything I need to keep an eye out for? Is there any rubber bushings or anything that I should replace while I have it all taken apart?

I am also replacing my steering dampener with a Pro-Comp one.

thanks for the help.. This forum has been a lifesaver.

Vinny,
I am assuming you are doing all 4 shocks.
It is easy to do. The new shocks should have all the hardware and bushings to replace the old OEM stuff.
Will your upfront put a couple of zerk fittings into the ball-joints.
Good luck.

Peace,
Yota Buck
