has anyone tryed this and it went as planned if anyone has any pics of it im thinking about doing it but not sure yet any custom 4x4 guys/ gals out there or anyone with any advice would help thanks !!!! a lot

Since the 2nd gen already has a nice tailgate with retracting rear window I'm not reallly sure why anyone would want to do that. At least with the 1st gen the rear seat occupants have open sky above them when the hardtop is taken off, but why are you interested in doing this to your 2nd gen? Well, I guess I could ask my friend who just bought a SportTrac the same thing I suppose it does look kind of cool - do you have pics from other angles?

no i can get some ill try i just like the look want somthing different you kno what i mean you think it would be really hard or what or even to chop the back off? or am i dreaming to much lol

o i kno its all good but i wanna get some advice from other poeple out there like you and tell me if it would look good and i have a chance messing it up but my boss does auto body .......right on

Yes I have one I just bought that was already done like that. It leaks like crazy. But it’s 3 link up front and 6in springs in the rear with 150k on it so I can stand to fix the leaks lol
