Oil lite ?

Hey guys,
My oil lite comes on, stays on
for 1 to 20 min. or so and goes off.
I have oil and I'm not due for a change.
Any ideas on what it could be ?

Thanks, Capo

doesn't an oil light tell you when you have low oil pressure?

Check your sensor wire. If it's off and grounding out it will make the light come on. Also, if the wire has missing insulation and is grounding intermittently the light would be on and off.

If your wiring is good and the sensor is straight, you might be losing your oil pump.
