Oil leak/oil pressure 95' V6 4Runner

New on here and looking for some friendly advice before I go to the shop.
I have had a 95' 3.0 V6 4Runner since new. It had an engine change in 2006. The engine now has 20,000 miles on the clock.
The problem I have is an oil leak which I also presume is the reason for no oil pressure. It had 4 quarts of oil 2 weeks ago and today I put 2 more in.
Is it as bad as I fear? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First thing is first....Determine where the oil is coming from or if it is even leaking and being burnt. Take a flashlight and white paper towel, crawl under your truck and start looking. Places to check may be: Oil pan/plug, head gasket, valve covers, etc. If you have NO oil pressure, you may want to check and see if your gauge is working properly or you might have a faulty oil pump. Come back with what you find and someone may be able to help further.
