I waited until i had the time off from school and work to get in there and change the gaskets. I replaced all my vacuum lines. Cleaned the inside of the plenum. Pulled off the intake manifold with fuel injectors still in. I cleaned everything with seafoam and brake cleaner. I poured seafoam into the fuel rails once I had re-installed the intake. This way they were filled with pure seafoam. My idea was to have the seafoam in there sitting and doing its thing while the rest of the plenum and misc was being installed. Once it was started up the injectors would spray out pure seafoam, hopefully blasting out all deposits. I kept the return fuel line disconnected and bypassed for the first few mins after start up. I had also poured seafoam directly into the intake ports on the cylinder heads before I re-installed the intake manifold. To make a long story short I cleaned the hell out of my engine with seafoam and replaced all the vacuum lines. I had no idea that I could get this much throttle response back. It really does feel like a different engine. I dont have to downshift like I used to. So A clean engine is a happy engine. i am getting about 30 extra miles to a tank now. Very cool.
