1984 crusty 4runner

greetings from the icy northland! i think i'll be buying an '84 rustbucket that seems to drive and ride pretty well. shifts well, a little cold starting and very minimalist interior. but for some reason i really like it. most of my experience is with domestics and old VW's so i thought i'd solicit a little advice. anything i should watch out for on this model? its been up here in coastal alaska for most of its life apparently. lots of rust on the back end, rockers, fenders etc. but it seems to be sound where it counts. thanks!

matt

The rust is the only real problem you will have with it look it over good. Frame and wheel wells.

Does it have the 22R 4 cyl.?

They are great reliable engines.

solid axles

Welcome and your first flame.........
