Help, need some guidance

Hi, folks. So I have a 1992 4R w/ 180k, this last weekend my water pump decided to fail. Luckily I was only a few miles from home, and after waiting for her to cool down and a couple of gallons of water I limped her to the house. I immediately retrieved my trusty FSM to see what was involved, and since I am fairly mechanically inclined decided to do this myself.

Jump forward to today. Everything has been completed, I replaced the water pump, timing belt, tensioner, and also the dist. cap and rotor. I followed the FSM step for step, everything is buttoned up, however here's where i need some help....She starts right up and after a few seconds dies??? I have checked and re-checked all my work focusing on the ignition and related, but I am stumped. Please if anyone might have a suggestions I am open to all. Thanks

Maybe a fuel issue, try a little starting fluid spray into the air intake to see if the truck stays running. If it stays running then, it's fuel related, if it dies then, spark related.
