Do any of you guys have this on your car?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634

i don't want to buy the k&n aircharger kit cuz it's like $200+ but instead i was thinking about getting that adapter and a k&n filter. i want to get it for myself and my mom because throttle response really sucks.

p.s. i'll try to post pics of me and my mom's t4r

Sounds goog K&N drop in filter, CAI are OK if you also free up the exhaust end.
Say you put a set of headers and free flow exhaust and a CAI then you would see some HP/TQ gains but for the money and labor would not be worth it.

The 3.0L is slow a fact we must live with.

Thats why they swap the 3.4L in allot.

Mike

I was gonna argue with you when I first read your reply on cold air not doing much. But then reading this reply I won't...

I've seen some pretty impressive gains off of CAI, but not with out going to a header, and 2-1/4 to 2-1/2" cat-back exhaust. Because kinda like a pump, the faster (to a point) you get air in and out---the more performance. And the whole header thing is a real pain on the 3.0's... If wanting to get power out of the vehicle, its almost more economical to do the 3.4 swap.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE Toyota's, and won't trash talk them, but the 3.0 was not a strong point of quality on toyota's part. The 3.4 not only puts out a lot more power, but its also alot more reliable...
