How the heck do I get my freakin' starter off?

What the heck guys??? This is my first yota and I am really starting to hate working on it. How am I supposed to get that bottom starter bolt out of my 3.0? Big hands and big arms are making this job extremely difficult. What is the trick? I have tried from the bottom and through the fender well.

I love 4runners but I'm starting to miss my old blazer..

There are two bolts on the bell housing and one on the bottom of the starter toward the front of the truck.

Did you take the front tire off that will give you tons of more room to get the bottom one

+1 also a swivel is nice to have. I used a 3ft ext. And a swivel. But I've also done it 5+ time this past winter in freezing temps. You must pull the skid plate off the front and then slide the extention and socket through the front suspension. Any more questions let us know.
