Post Guide to Installing H4 Conversion Lens
Order the lens of choice i prefer the Pilot Lens they are far more clear then the Hella brand. I got mine from AMAZON it was $38.23 shipped.

First you will have to take off your grill, use a flat head screwdriver to separate the retaining clip.







With the old head lights out you can install the new clear lenses.
(Note) i did notice the new lens is a bit bulky and required screws that were a touch longer then the stock one, in my case that was fine the old ones were shot anyway.







Once you have installed the new lens your all set to put bulbs in and hook it up

Ok so i just went with the standard H4 sylvania standard bulb.

Here is the light on.



And here are the high beams.

that would be great to add the only reason i didnt do the HID because im buying a new boat so spending cash was not a lucid.

Yes please. After I get the new housing I would want to go HID myself now that the prices are so low for them.

I was going to do the conversion my self too but I just ended up buying the new Sylvania top of the line seal beams. Cost is about $20 a bulb and standard seal beam is about $6. The difference is night and day LOL I am very happy but I would still like to do the HID conversion.

Could you tell me if the pilot housings have a glass lens or plastic type? The lighting looks good BTW..

do you know off the top of your head what the light specs are for a 1994 4runner? Looking to do this as well, I want brighter lights :/

Any of y all have any H4 bulb suggestions?? Sylvania silver stars?? I've upgraded my headlights, but not yet the bulbs...
