I have an issue with starting up my new 88 4runner
What's up guys? I just joined your forum sooo i am relatively new and i am also new to working on cars soo bare with me if i sound stupid..
Anyways, when I start up my new 88 4runner (which i LOVE by the way) it always starts up rough after having to crank for a while. Also, it sits in the low RPM range (starts at about 500 then will climb back up to 1,000 eventually) for a good 5 minutes. It starts easier when the engine is cold. would I need to check my resting fuel pressure and fuel pressure when it is running? Or is there something I need to clean?
I have the 3VZ-E V6 with an automatic, and I just did a tune-up with a new Distributor Cap, Rotor, Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs, and Spark Plug Wires.
