1992 Runner rear tailgate problems (5-speed man.)

Recently, my rear tailgate window has stoped working. The key nor the center console button doesn't work. I'm guessing the motor went out. Can anyone help figure what my next steps are to getting inside the tailgate to replace the motor?

Thanks

Take a flat screwdriver and pop off the carpeted liner. Then use a phillips and remove the screws holding on the metal trim bolster under the carpet. You should then be able to access the motor after moving back the plastic inner liner. Fortunately, you will not have to open the tailgate.
