Engine heating up with a/c on

I have a 95 4runner 3.0l n my engine is heating up when i'm in town driving or on highway for a period of time when i have my a/c on and it makes a/c blow hot air.... I put in a new radiator and thermostat and it helped a little but not much....please help to what may be going on..there are no signs of leaks anywhere. the fan seems to be working. one friend suggested a collapsing hose but i don't know about that but maybe i'm wrong. any advice please! thank you!!

In a normally operating system the AC will cycle off and on, that's the way it works.
Coolant level in the radiator and the t-stat will affect the engine operating temp and the heat, but the AC is a separate system.

Did you properly burp the cooling system? May have air in the system still......or a stuck thermostat.

Yes, but:

The condenser is in front of the radiator, and it generates extra heat, reducing the cooling capacity of the radiator, while the compressor puts extra strain on the engine.

The first thing I would check is to make sure there is no debris in between the condenser and the radiator. Beyond that, I would check the cooling system itself. Assuming that the AC is only on when it's really hot, and it's always on when it's really hot, it may not have anything to do with the A/C, but have everything to do with the temperature.

Also, is the 3VZE a belt-driven or electric fan?

thanks for the reply's, i appreciate them!!! my engine is belt driven. thermostat and radiator are new so shouldn't be an issue there, the line was burped of air n no leaks anywhere..... is the a/c condenser fan suppose to run on idle or lower speeds? engine only gets hot when a/c is on. had compressor checked and freon a month ago and all good there...i'll try n check the fans..i'm at a loss here

When you have a problem with the fan clutch is it better to go with an electric fan?
