DIY: 1994 4runner Front Brake Job incl. new Rotors & Wheel Bearings (Part 1 of 5) - YouTube
This is a series of 5 videos that show you how to completly redo the front brakes and bearings on a 86 to 95 Toyota IFS front end. It really helped me out.

We should start a new thread on this and have BV throw the link into the OP. In fact, I think I'll do that.

I modified the first post to add KidV's link to his FSM thread. Hopefully we can keep the FSM's around and be able to help everyone out without causing any issues.

This needs more writeups. It'd be nice to have more members documenting fixes and mods and posting them up.

I'll have a bunch soon when I get to work on my 4runner... that or I'll do write ups in the 3rd gen section.

Hey SV, will you add this to the OP?
Toyota 4Runner 1st-Gen Color Code Chart
Somebody unstickied it, and it took me, like, 3 whole minutes to find it again. Three minutes. I should sue.

I've got an annoying squealing/grinding come from underneath my '87. Sounds like the transfer case/driveshaft area. It starts in 2nd gear and goes away when I let up in 3rd. I was hoping it was just a dust shield not pressed on tight. I new the noise was there when I bought it, but it got MUCH worse after it sat for a month. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
