So what your saying is that by switching the 2 plugs vise versa should either put my actuator in normal (2wd) and then when I switch them it will be in 4wd? That would be the easiest fix ever! That never even crossed my mind and I will give it a shot!

And ya both the brake lines go from master cylinder to passenger wheel well, and then go to a "T" type fitting, from there I have 2 lines that go to front brakes, one off either T. And then I have 2 lines that twin side by side along frame towards rear, then jog up over fuel tank (super corrosion) and then drop back down and go to separate "actuators?" you could say all this is hard piped in soft copper, which then goes from these final devices to the rear brakes. Idk why so complicated of a braking system.

Well I'm assuming your transfer case is working mechanically but electrically is NOT changing your solenoids. So it keeps the 2wd one energized no matter what. Problem is, if the 4wd IS switching power between vacuum valves properly then this won't work alone. You'd have to also switch the OUTPUT vacuum lines between them. (which would actually be a test to see if solenoid is frozen. Which could be your whole deal). Does that make sense? Pop the hood, switch the electrical and see what happens. It's not going to hurt anything. But for diagnostics you gotta start somewhere. Just mark stuff or take pictures before you start yanking on things hahah

As for brakes, I'll see if I can trace mine back soon. I should be back underneath it this week anyway. In the meantime, try and take a few pictures as best you can.

Thanks so much for the info, when I get back home this weekend I will try it out. And I'll take some pics of the brakes as well.

Q u e s t i o n

HI!

1990 22RE 4RUNNER

I swapped out the stock radiator for a CSF 2314 3-row.
(OEM one was crumbling to pieces)

It bolted in just fine but the stock fan shroud doesn't fit (too large).

anyone know which fan shroud will fit the CSF 2314 ?
1st gen T4R?
pickups?

Couldn't find anything about shroud fitment for these CSFs

I've read 8mm. Do you mean backspacing, by chance? That would be 4.75

I have a 1995 4runner with the 3vze. I had a code 52 so i replaced the knock sensor and wire. The code is still there along with the CEL. Both pigtail and sensor replaced with brand new parts. Anyone have any clues as to what it could be. ECU maybe? Vacume leak possibly. Im at a loss

I personally have no experience with the 3vze, but here is a quick search I did on the Yota tech page if you haven't seen that forum yet.

This might help if you haven't seen it:
Here is a way to search google for all related threads on that topic, as one thread might not have your situation exactly.
When I type this into the regular google search bar in your browser, several different threads pop up. Hopefully there is something in all of those that will help. Once I found this way of searching, I think it opens up more related pages.
So when you type in your question, put in
site:yotatech.com/
after your question or key word and it seems to work better. Good Luck!
Example:
code 52 knock sensor 3vze site:yotatech.com/

This is the page that pops up from google.

Need more info. If you're trying to put a 97 trans into a 95 4Runner it won't work. Totally different. Different generations even.
