3.0 Valve Covers

After reading threads mentioning VC leaks, the recent one about the mysterious PCV valve, and looking at my 3.0 during an oil change, my question(s) are this...Does a company make VC gaskets that dont leak? Mabey a rubber wrapped metal one similar to ones used on some V-8's, or a valve cover with a different flange design? I noticed mine leak, and would like to solve the problem. Second...given the upper manifold needs to be removed for the passenger side, I'd like this to be as positive and long lasting fix as possible, are the valve covers mirror image, or siamese...? So as to move the PCV to the drivers side for better access? Seems like a poor design that could be improved. How about a phenolic gasket between the upper and lower manifold to reduce heat transfer?
I'm going to have some time shortly to do more than routine maintinance, and am going to start getting my parts together...gaskets, injectors mabey, and so on.

Ha Ha! I made that thread go bye-bye. I just wanted to point out that Chilton manuals suck hard.

I don't know anything about getting "better" valve cover gaskets than the normal ones.

Hey csrobb007, I still need help figuring out which Flowmaster fits my 2" pipe .. check your PM's again?

Anyway - back to his topic.

After looking a little, I did find this link...It mentions the use of FelPro gaskets which look rubber, but nothing else.

OK...I have to admit to my stupid question about flipping the VC...yes it will fit on the other side, but (duh) where will the oil filler be? Buried under the manifold (duh again)...sorry, I wasn't thinking.
